ALL ABOUT
GOODHAND |
|
Larry Goodhand: born AUG 1948
to OCT 30, 2005 He played Blues guitar
professionally for over 30 years across Canada and the USA. He was first
introduced to the Blues on a visit to the home of schoolmate
John Dickie (The Mississippi Hippies) around 1962 when Dickie played him some Jimmy Reed. Goodhand
recalls diggin' it but actually starting to play guitar was
still about a year away. He next saw Sonny Terry and
Brownie McGhee on TV and picked up their "Live
At Sugar Hill" album followed shortly by "The Best Of
Muddy Waters" when a real love and appreciation of the
Blues, especially the electric Chicago style, came to
fruition. |

THANK YOU EVERYONE!
"Thank you for your words of support and hope. The stories about
Larry are wonderful. It has been comforting seeing so many people
who cared about
Larry. Thank you to the musicians who played at the tributes and to
everyone
who donated money towards John’s education. Most of all for letting
John see
how others saw his Dad". - Marilyn Rasmusson Goodhand |
