After acquiring it in 1986 and using it as his main axe for about 10 years he "retired" it to home use because its value started to skyrocket and he just thought it was too valuable to be running it out to bars, hardware store openings or cockfights...anywhere the paying gigs were! His amp of choice these days is a Fender Blues Deluxe with a single 12" speaker. He uses no pedals or effects.
